Who We Work For
From initial consultation to the delivery of a detailed report, we make the process straightforward. Our assessments, surveys, and follow-ups are designed around your exact tree management and planning requirements.
1. How Do I Know What Survey I Need?
Choosing the right tree survey depends on your project’s needs, the site, and the trees themselves.
Surveys
Start by considering the purpose: Is it linked to construction, tree safety, or overall health? For development projects, a BS5837 Survey is usually required, while a Tree Condition Survey may be best for assessing safety or vitality.
TPO / Conservation Consultation
If you don’t require a full report but need advice on managing trees under a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or within a conservation area, we provide a dedicated consultation service. Our team will guide you through the regulations, help you understand your options, and support you in staying compliant while caring for your trees.
We Can Help
We’ve outlined the key surveys we provide below, but our team is always available to offer tailored advice and recommend the most suitable option for your site—ensuring compliance and peace of mind.
2. Get In Touch
We provide free, no-obligation estimates. Just get in touch by phone, email, or our online form, and we’ll discuss your needs. Whether it’s a single property or a large estate, our team can arrange a convenient site visit.
3. The Site Visit
For larger sites or where multiple trees are involved, we may carry out a short visit to understand your consultancy and survey needs before issuing a quote. This also gives you the chance to share any particular concerns or requirements with us directly.
4. Optional Retainer Service
For clients who want consistent support and reassurance, we offer a retainer service. This monthly arrangement costs less than a single annual survey and delivers added value throughout the year.
With a retainer, you’ll benefit from:
- Additional site visits at no extra cost – giving you ongoing oversight and early identification of potential issues.
- Direct access to your surveyor – a dedicated contact number for quick, ad hoc support whenever you need it.
- Enhanced reporting – advanced insights and analysis, building on our standard reports to give you a deeper understanding of your trees and sites.
This service provides lasting peace of mind, predictable costs, and a stronger level of support for managing your green assets.
5. Your Quotation
You’ll receive a detailed quotation for your tree consultancy or survey, with each service itemised to give a clear breakdown of costs. Our goal is full transparency, so you know exactly what’s included and why.
We invite you to review the quotation carefully and contact us with any questions or changes. We want you to feel completely confident and informed before we move forward.
6. The Survey
On the scheduled day, our arboricultural consultants will arrive fully prepared to carry out a detailed assessment of your site’s trees.
They’ll examine health, structure, and condition, while also factoring in environmental influences and the wider impact on your property.
During the visit, they’ll collect all relevant data, share professional insights, and discuss initial findings with you to ensure clarity.
A comprehensive written report will then be provided.
7. Invoicing
Once the consultancy or survey is complete, we’ll issue an invoice based on the agreed terms. It will provide a clear breakdown of services and costs, reflecting our commitment to transparent, fair billing.
The document will also outline payment terms and methods, ensuring it integrates smoothly with your organisation’s financial processes.
8. Customer Care
Our customer service team is here to support your consultancy needs, whether you reach out by phone or online. You’ll also have direct access to our senior team, ensuring your project receives the focus and expertise it deserves.
We place customer satisfaction at the heart of everything, from the initial survey through to post-project support. Your feedback is vital in helping us continually refine and improve our services. Should you have questions after completion, we’ll always be on hand to help.
At the Woodworx Group, we’re committed to building long-term relationships. We aim to be more than just a contractor—we want to be your trusted partner in managing trees and landscapes.
